Re: MisfitsCafe.com - Two Very Worthwhile Video Clips to Download and View

Oh i  remember   'McNeil Lehere Report'  Where opinions were followed by this is not a reflection of the station but a personal opinion.  Also too you remember how the news was just the news and not followed with a personal opinion of the newsperson during the broadcast.   Where news was the news  and not some hype to make you watch thier channel.  it has all become competition for each channel..

Our first TV was a Muntz with a huge 9 inch screen News was News and Opinions were stated as opinions and not mixed up like they do today. I hope I spelt the names correctly. If not I guess age is catching up with me
If people like Anne Coulter,Bill O'Rieley and their ilk would try and spout their garbage on TV back in those days the public would have taken them out and tarred and feathered them. They act and sound like they are somewhere between the drunkard Sen. Joe McCarthy,Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler.  We need more News people like Dave Garoway,Edward R. Morrow Walter Cronkite, and the McNeil Lehere Report on the News today Not the Garbage that is spread as News when it's just Opinions of these people if you want to call them human. Tim

You may not be old enough to even remember the Ed Sullivan show in the days of B&W television, much less Larry Griswold who appeared on Sullivan's Sunday evening show at least once a year, and on other late-night and variety shows from time-to-time.  This guy is hilarious, and well worth downloading for a solid belly-laugh!

Another great video clip that's really worth downloading and viewing, especially at this time of year!
