MisfitsCafe.com - THIS is TRUE:

THIS is TRUE:

SETTLING IT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY:
Dale G. Robertson, 25, was driving through sunny side, Wash., when he spotted a familiar pickup backing out of a driveway.
According to police spokeswoman Charlotte Hinderlider, the two drivers had been having a long-running dispute.
Police said Robertson decided to settle the dispute by ramming the unnamed 27-year- old victim's truck.
Robertson then allegedly got out with a weapon --- a sword, of all things --- and started swinging at the man.
Thinking fast, the victim grabbed a machete that just happened to be lying in his yard and defended himself.
The victim's mother, who was still in the car, called 911, and Robertson fled in his vehicle shortly after.
Police caught him and held him on assault charges.
(MS/Yakima Herald, Bellingham Herald) ...
The victim's mother only heard the assailant say one thing:
"Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

ANGEL OF MERCY:
A patient in surgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., identified only as LVK, was screaming in pain.
Registered Nurse Sarah May Casareto, 33, was quick to step in, telling him to "go to your happy place" and "man up" because she had already given him as much medication as allowed.
Hospital staff had to hold LVK down to complete the procedure, and the patient later went to police.
The problem:
Casareto had only given him a fraction of his dose, police say; she had shot the rest into herself instead.
When confronted, Casareto resigned from her job, and allegedly admitted to police she is addicted to painkillers.
Hospital administrators "declined to discuss" why doctors would continue to operate on a patient who is screaming in pain.
"We have procedures to protect patients," said hospital spokeswoman Gloria O'Connell, and there are "safeguards in place" to ensure employees don't steal drugs. (RC/Minneapolis Star-Tribune) ...
Let's see you face LVK and say that again, madam.

WHEN LOCKS ARE OUTLAWED, ONLY OUTLAWS WILL HAVE LOCKS:
Residents of the English counties of Kent and Surrey have been warned about potential lawsuits if they use wire mesh to reinforce garden shed windows, which they have been doing to protect their property against burglars.
Police are warning that the wire mesh is "dangerous" and could lead to criminals suing the owners if they "hurt themselves" while breaking in.
"It is ridiculous that the law protects them even though they are breaking it," complained Thomas Cooper of Tatsfield, Surrey, who reinforced his shed after several break-ins. The more clever thieves aren't injuring themselves, however.
"We had some tools stolen every now and again," said Samantha Cullum of Brasted, Kent, "but this time they took the entire shed."
(MS/London Telegraph) ...
It was time SOMEBODY thought of the poor, defenseless criminals.

DISARMED:
At a bank in West Orlando, Fla., a man walked into the lobby and handed the teller a note stating it was a robbery, and to put the money in a bag.
The teller, Marc Nguyen, recognized the man as a regular customer.
After filling a bag with money, he tried to push it through the slot to give to the robber, but the bag was too big to fit through.
When told the bag wouldn't fit, the would-be robber just turned around and walked out of the bank.
But as he was leaving, Sheriff's Deputy Christopher Thomas had arrived and tried to take him into custody.
But during the arrest, the suspect's arm came off.
Another teller told deputies that she recognized the robber from high school as Matthew Meguiar, and that he also lived in her apartment building less than a mile from the bank. Meguiar is being held without bail on a charge of attempted robbery.

Noticed:
They didn't charge him with armed robbery.
