Pot-Luck-Humor - Re: ALL MEMBERS @ Special Notice #3

 

don't fret it David ... most others don't get it either ... most of this is discussed in my "way to busy for your free email client" Twisted-Humor group ... we rawk through an average of 400 to 500 emails every day there ... i only present little snippets to my other groups (8,700 members total) from time to time ... here is the Tip Jar list as of Sept 30th 2010 @  http://misfitscafe.com/tip-jars.txt that is only a temp page until i can get better web pages set up ... in the past this was all just kept by hand here in my home office.
 
Now that more and more folks are starting to catch on a bit ... i'll be putting up some additional info web pages in the coming weeks ... i'll give ya blast once i get to them up ... the tip jar list will normally update the first week of each month (for the previous months activity). Once a members "available" amount reaches $50 or more they can request a check. 
 
Those members showing negative amounts have either already requested funds or are using the PROmisfits mailboxes on a loaner basis so they can keep up with our high volume / mutiple groups. Additionally, i failed to address your moderator status in your original reply ... ALL of my business and personal assets including my online groups / domains are now held by my StumpySteve Living Trust and effective Sept 11th, 2009 i created a Florida based LLC to act as my trustee, ie. MisfitsCafe.Biz LLC
 
So in a nutshell, that company now owns my groups, with me as the Managing Director until i finally croak. By utilizing this method, there will be no probate (like in a will) ... the company, including the groups will continue on after my passing. I have a great family oriented staff here who are very supportive of my wishes for after my great day in the sky comes.
 
They are now in charge of the moderator control panels of all my groups (as owners) ... and since yahell only allows for a total of 12 mods per group ... and i have over 8,700 members ... we said fuck it .... let's just make EVERY member a moderator (without the c-panel access) ... as described in the original of this thread .... links will also be added to the groups message footer shortly ... emails backing up on me here ... moving on for now, - laterz :-)  
 
BTW: back during my death sentence / Ron Paul days of '07/08 ... i was involved in 80 some groups ... i don't recall the NSM? but do remember having run a sig that drew folks to my book give away. I was to have died at any time, back then and was only making a mass last ditch effort to dump what was left of my estate at that time.
 
Did a great job of it too. Wound up giving away 638 book for over 12 grand. The problem was ... due to my own due diligence ... i made some massive dietary / lifestyle changes and beat the frigging reaper. -- haha -- So there i was ... flat broke & crippled ... and now making a knew go of things again ... just so i can give it all away again & again & again. :-)

lol David ... you first became involved in our Misfits "thingy" back in 2008 when you requested our free Ron Paul book give away. Those of you who followed through and became active (like yourself) in any of our groups were granted one free $100 Tip Jar during the spring of 2009.
 
Then during the winter solstice festivities of the same year ... i gave you a second $100 Tip Jar since you did not opt in for the G-powered PROmisfits mailboxes. Those who did opt in for the mailboxes ... received a small rebate check instead.
 
Additionally, since you stayed on and became an interactive group member as well, i gave you a third $100 Tip Jar in July of this year. All of these Tip Jars are placed on our virtual carousel, we call the MisfitsCafe Money-Go-Round. Each Tip  Jar continues to round and round collecting spare change month after month until the Jars reach $100 in cash ... at which time it is pulled and retired ... with all the proceeds going directly to you as a tax free gift OR donated to your favorite charity in your name.
 
All of this activity is funded by myself through my StumpySteve Trust and our fellow PROmisfits Sponsors who optionally choose to donate / contribute to our cause. After the MisfitsCafe.Biz LLC (a Florida based not-for-profit) pays it bills each month ... any funds left over are returned back to ALL the registered members based on their tip jar count. 
 
So in other words ... we are simply sharing the proceeds back with all the group members based on their participation levels ... AND ... of course there are additional financial incentives for those PROmisfits Sponsor who wish to help support our little micro-economy here. If you are interested in additional info on this (or more Tip Jars) ... simply reply back.
 
Otherwise, just keep on keeping on buddy. I still have your address from the Ron Paul book i gave you through Amazon ... if that has changed, when time to start collecting your cash ... then you will need to let me know that as well (off group).

If you are reading this email, then you have been promoted to group Moderator. See, i told you this would be a walk in the park. Yep, it's that simple. As previously stated in the last notice ... every new (and existing) member will be carefully screened prior to joining (or allowed to stay in) the group, by a well trained, experienced and now qualified staff here at the MisfitsCafe HQ. 
 
So what does this mean to you as one of our moderators?
 
Very simple really, as a registered MisfitsCafe member / group moderator ... you simply do what you like to do best ... chat, share or lurk even. You can even change you email settings once approved / registered. Anyways, it's the same ole, same ole on the basic rules. Like no bitching, moaning or groaning (to loud), no spamming of commercial or other group links (unless you are a paying PROmisfit yourself) ... and absolutely no abusive behavior towards any other member. Say what you wish about any person, place or thing outside of this group ... but never with the intent of hurting another inside member
 
Therefore, if you happen to see another member posting something questionable (which could violate Yahoo's TOS) ... OR ... spam .... or flaming of another member (or yourself) ... instead of trying to correct the situation yourself and possibly disrupting the flow of the board .... simply forward the whole email that's in question to the groups owners email address listed on our Home Page ... OR ... even better, email them directly to our staff at: admin@misfitscafe.biz 
 
Either way, let our staff handle the dirty work in the background ... leaving you & i free to play here in the group. If this works out right ... you the group moderator will be the watch dog of all the emails flowing through the group ... while the staff, who are NOT allowed to participate at the group level ... will handle the approval, processing and possible disciplinary actions in the future from a more personal level. 
 
Even more simply put ... you the moderators are watching many of the individual post ... while the HQ staff are all on NO group mail ... and only do one on ones with any issues in the background. I do believe this will allow for a more enjoyable, peaceful and less stressful group over all. And of course, as always, if any existing member wishes to challenge this new approach themselves ... they will quickly be placed on moderated post with a warning.
 
See ... i told ya this would be easier than that damn old control panel. Personally, i'm loving it already ... but then again, i've got a 24 hour head start on the rest of ya ... haha ... yep @ it's good to be free. :-)
 
So with that said, i'm open to any questions up to this point and notice #4 will most likely come in the AM. BTW: if you are one who has not yet registered for your free $100 Tip Jar, just for being a member, than read this post:
