OOPS ... it seems i've made a bit of a boo boo below ... i've been advised by Steve Pix (one of our admin here, who is also a paralegal with a law firm over in Daytona Beach) to change the "Investors" language in my words below.
He says this could cause possible / potential tax consequences back to us who are contributing. Income from "investments" is taxable, while income from "gifts" is NOT taxable. This extra income we are ALL earning is a result of exchanging "gifts" and not any type of business or investment opportunity.
Therefore, it was just proposed, voted and resolved here at HQ that the new language regarding the two 25% PROmisfits bonuses will now be ...
25% PROmisfits "Silver" Bonus (based on $10 shares from donations) and
25% PROmisfits "Gold" Bonus (based on $1,000 shares from donations).
For Nov. this worked out to be a total of 6,789 Silver Shares with an extra payout of $.09 per share ... and ... a total of 57 Gold Shares with an extra payout of $10.04 per share. These bonuses will be added to your Tip Jar accounts soon. We are still working on the break down for all of the regular (free & pro) Tip Jars at the 50% ($1,144.70) rate ... lots of calculations to be done there yet.
--- sorry for the confusion, y'all ... you know we are still in the setup phase of this program ... and we are constantly fine tuning and trying to smooth out the corners. Sometimes, what appears to work good in thought and on paper doesn't do as well when put into action ... but we're getting there ... just bear with us.
