Pot-Luck-Humor - Oktoberfest Preparations In Munich

 

This Oktoberfest sure brings back memories--I was stationed 80 miles from Munich when I was in the Army back in 1955 & 1956.  It was  about  an 1.5 hrs drive from Nuremburg.   I don't know how we ever go back to our base considering how much beer we drank.   It wasn't as fancy as it is now--don't forget when I was there -- it was only 10 yrs after the 2nd world war.   ==========================================================================================       Oktoberfest 2010: Munich prepares for the beer festival A woman displays the new Oktoberfest beer mug in a festival tent at the Theresienwiese in Munich, southern Germany.
