Excellent news!

Hi Dave, sorry about the one you lost and congrats on the one who survived. Also, many thanks for your encouraging words both today and in the past. I know you are in a group that does not permit replies at the group level ... so i thought i'd share my words (below) to Ian Brown from another group ... who's aunt is going through this right now. He wants to know more about what i am doing.
You know, i keep going on how tough this disease fighting regimen of mine is ... but do you want to know the real truth ?!?
I am 110% convinced, that going down the tubes with all of these preventable / curable diseases (all the way to death) ... would be even tougher than the diet itself ... so with that said ....

My aunt is dealing with cancer right now and has been going thru chemo. She
had a stroke last Monday so is back in the hospital again. I would love to hear
about whatever it is your doing so I can pass along the information to her and the rest of my family. Thanks in advance, and I hope you can keep doing what you are doing to beat it.

Well today was my 90 day follow up with the oncologist ... and he said (with amazement), "whatever you are doing, keep doing it." He didn't seem that interested in my vitamin D and nutritional approach ... other than my white blood cell count (wbc) has dropped back into the high-normal range.
Normal WBC's run between 4 and 10 ... the oncologist office shows 10.9 on their charts, as still being normal. At the first of the year my WBC was 11.2 and my PCP figured infection and prescribed some antibiotics. Didn't help, but due to her moving, i had to switch to a new PCP ... who was not interested in the WBC at that time. Anyways, long story short, my WBC was 11.8 in April and 12.6 in June.
It was then, that i was referred to a infectious disease specialist ... after more very expensive blood work ... any infections were ruled out and i was diagnosed with the leukemia / lymphoma CLL/SLL Zap-70 positive. When i first saw my oncologist (in July), my WBC had jumped out to 13.4 iand 14.8 in Aug. When i showed up today, their office had already made plans to start some kind of pre-chemo with some kind of drug called blah-blah-globin(?) ...
... i threw a fit and said ... hey wait a minute ... you said No chemo until my WBC had doubled to the 25 to 30 range. I'm trying to beat this crap through a nutritional & vitamin D approach. So i insisted that they do another WBC ... and guess what ... it has dropped a full 4 points in a 90 day period. I had only a 10.8 WBC today (the lowest this year) ... and bet i drop even further with this diet & viatmin D therapy. So the doctor canceled his pre-chemo, put me back on the 90 day observation window and instead, referred me to having a colonoscopy. ... which I was suppose to do back in '07, but had to cancel due to lack of insurance.
I'm telling you folks ... you need to take charge of your own health & medical research and keep these damn doctors in line. There are dozens of proven alternatives out there, that the conventional big pharma docs won't discuss. So it's up to you (us). They are all trained in the mainstream methods of treatment which are nothing more than chemo, radiation & surgery .... in their world, there is NO cures. Only the treating of symptoms until they have all of your estate (or until you finally croak).
Dr, Nair is really a nice guy ... still on the young side and not yet calloused from all the death that goes with cancer. While he refused to give me a second script for another 50,000 IU weekly vitamin D (i've got other ways for that) ... he is very much aware of the approach i am using and did encourage me to keep doing what ever i'm doing to bring my blood levels back in order.
If you, or a loved one is fighting cancer (or any disease) ... i'll be more than glad to talk to you off group about my very strict regimen ... while, i'm not out of the medical woods yet ... i've seen enough now, personally, to know that this DOES work ... if you work it. It's only a decision about living (or dying) ... and extending life with less aches & pains.
