Another Celebrity Death Hoax Involves 'Two and a Half Men' Star -- Sans Drugs, Alcohol, and Hookers

In what appears to be a neverending string of celebrity death hoaxes, Charlie Sheen, the Emmy-winning actor who portrays Charlie Parker on CBS' "Two And A Half Men," was reported dead the day after

Christmas by several websites. Gossip Cop was quick to come to Charlie Sheen's rescue, however, and set the record straight by assuring the 45-year-old actor's fans that he was alive and well.

According to a report from Global Associated News, Sheen, who supposedly was vacationing at a Zermatt, Switzerland, ski resort, perished when he crashed his Snowboard.

"Witnesses indicate," the report stated, "that Charlie Sheen lost control of his Snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed."

The report also indicated that Sheen was a novice snowboarder, that he was airlifted to a nearby medical facility, that he was apparently killed at the scene, and that drugs and alcohol were not involved.

One could joke and say that the latest celebrity death hoax involving one of television's most popular leading men wasn't in the least bit credible in that Sheen's reported death by snowboarding accident had no extenuating circumstances -- like alcohol, drugs, or hookers -- which would seem to be essentials in a story about Charlie Sheen. Yet, the report denies them, but, then, initial reports about his New York rampage had his representatives denying drug use and female escorts as well.
