Thanks to "Hawkeye" for pointing me toward "The Black Keys"!

Dan Auerbach is one half of the Black Keys duo who are dragging the blues kicking and screaming, and it is mostly screaming, into the 21st Century.  It is hard to believe that two guys can cause so much mayhem.  This ain't your father's blues.  This is stripped down, raucous stomp on your toes type of bluesoid music.  Here are three albums.  "Chulahoma" is my favorite album by the Black Keys.  All the songs are Junior Kimbrough covers.  The second album is a solo album put out by Dan Auerbach.  The third is the original soundtrack from the movie, "Black Snake Moan" which features the Black Keys among others plus a phenomenal and explicit song by Samuel Jackson.
